There are 3 different styles of game:

• Teeball – Under 8s (non-competitive) and Under 9s. Teeball assists the younger players learn the basic skills and techniques of the game in a fun, non-competitive environment.

• Zooka (pitching machine) – Under 10s. Zooka prepares the players for live pitching, providing consistency of speed and accuracy. 

• Baseball (live pitch) – Under 11s onwards. Live pitch provides the older players an opportunity to play baseball like the pros!

 

The junior baseball season runs from September to just before Christmas, breaks for a few weeks, returns in late January and continues through to the finals in March. While opens baseball is played in both summer and winter as well as an over 35's masters competition on Monday nights from January to March. 

 

Junior games are played on a Saturday morning at either 8:30am and 10:30am and run for either 1 hour or 1.5 hours, depending on the relevant division.

 

Coaches usually like players to arrive at the diamond at least 30 minutes before the start of the game to warm up and finalise the line-up.  Games are played on the Northern Beaches at home (John Fisher Park) or away at Forest, Pittwater and Warringah.
